Reports to the Maintenance/Custodial Supervisor and/or Superintendent or building Principal and may include but is not limited to:
Sweeping, vacuuming, and/or mopping halls, classrooms, cafeterias, entryways, libraries, gyms and offices on a regular scheduled basis
Scrubbing graffiti off of walls
Cleaning desks, chairs, tables, chalkboards and dry erase marking boards
Emptying pencil sharpeners
Changing light bulbs, dusting and cleaning light fixtures
Cleaning and disinfecting toilets, urinals, sinks and bathroom floors
Stocking toilet paper, paper towels and hand soap where needed
Keeping custodial closets clean and orderly
Checking clocks for proper time and reporting all maintenance needs to your supervisor
Reporting safety hazards immediately to your supervisor
Empyting all garbage cans and waste paper baskets daily
Washing windows inside and out
Cleaning blinds, stripping and waxing floors, operating cleaning tools and equipment
Lower and care for flags
Locking all buildings and turning off proper breakers and lights
Cleaning playground equipment
Ability to read and understand written instructions and forms and verbal directions from supervisor for training and job duties.
All performance respsonsibilities and hours as assigned on an on call or substitute basis when needed to meet custodial duties Monday through Friday.

Drug testing and physical exam may be required of finalists
Helping bus drivers back up or naviagate into and out of their parking spots
